About Us
Founded in mid-2019, Assist Gippsland was born from a deep understanding of the unmet needs within our rural communities — and a strong determination to make a difference. As the world faced new challenges in 2020, our small team stepped up, providing personalised, high-quality supports when they were needed most. What began as a local, family-driven service quickly grew out of necessity and commitment to providing truly participant-centred care across the Wellington Shire.
Over the years, we’ve continued to grow — not just in size, but in strength, purpose, and connection. And today, we’re proud to share that Assist Gippsland is now a fully registered NDIS provider, recognised for delivering safe, reliable, and inclusive supports to people across our region.
Our registration marks an exciting new chapter — one that reflects our dedication to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. It allows us to broaden our services, including Support Coordination, Recovery Coaching, and a growing range of community and group programs based at The Heart, our vibrant new hub space.
At our core, we remain the same caring, community-minded organisation we’ve always been. Our team has a genuine passion for the people and places we serve. We work hand-in-hand with participants to tailor supports that reflect individual goals and aspirations — whether that means organising daily life, building confidence, or re-engaging with the community.
We believe in supporting the whole person — and in the power of feeling welcomed, included, and empowered. Assist Gippsland isn’t here for the short term; we’re committed to being a long-standing pillar of support in Gippsland for many years to come.
